Possibly your rope is worn out because the silicon/rubber ring on the main pulley is worn out. Normally, it is time to replace the silicon/rubber ring, but we developed a better solution for the same price. You get an aluminum main pulley instead of the silicon/rubber ring version main pulley and a magnetic extra tensioner pulley.
