How much does an ergometer cost?

It depends on the model. Please, see the full price list and shipping costs in the pricing menu. If you visit our webshop, you can choose your preferred model with optional accessories and even check the price in your local currency.

How can I pay?

Credit Card or bank transfer. Credit Card payment is only possible through our webshop. We suggest you place your order through our webshop, instead of email. We can only ship once we received the payment.

What is the final price? VAT?

We are in the EU. For private EU citizens, we can only sell with VAT, with the rate applied to your own country. You don't need to pay VAT if you are not living in the EU or you have a valid EU VAT number (e.g: you are a company). You can check whether you have a valid EU VAT number or not here.

I am from a country located outside of the EU?

No VAT, but there might be taxes or duties required by your country, but we are not aware of them.

What is the price in my local currency?

Do you ship to...?

We ship pretty much anywhere in the world. Please, check the list of countries on the pricing menu.

Do you have stock?

It's not easy to prepare with stock for a seasonal product. In off-season (April-September) we always have stock, but as everybody wants to purchase in the high-season there can be some waiting lists. Currently, we don't have stock, unfortunately. We advice to think it over and purchase it in time!

Shipping time?

Shipping time depends on the stock availability. If we have stock, shipping time takes 3-7 days to any country. If it is a high-season with a high demand it can go up to 2 months, unfortunately, but you get the gold standard of paddle machines, so it's worth to wait ;-).

What is the shipping cost to my country?

The shipping costs are based on regions, to see the shipping price list visit the pricing menu.

How do you ship the ergometers?

The shipment will vary according to quantity and location. In general, we ship with UPS.

What is the difference between BULL and BULL MAX?

BULL MAX is even stronger, because the diameter of the main pulley on the main axis is less than the BULL's.

Let's give an example:

The strongest male kayak athletes paddle with a Bráca I max size paddle. The resistance setup on our machines works with airflow regulation in the bottom of the machine. The resistance itself should be the size of your paddle.

For normal paddling the strongest male athletes set the BULL to 3,5-4 resistance, in the same time they would set the BULL MAX to 2,5-3 for normal paddling for the same strength.

Why they use buy BULL MAX? For strength training. Sometimes they want to train with harder resistance as the normal. For the same purpose on the water they put tennis balls below the boat, or rope around the boat body, etc.

BULL MAX is to much for dragon and SUP paddlers as well as for children and women in kayak.

What is the assembling time?

2-4 hours depending on your abilities.

Can I alternate sides on SUP/Va'a like on the water?

Yes, you can, with a durable and smooth solution!

What does the built in display show?

Performance measurement values as: duration, distance, speed (actual and average), calories, pull force (actual and average), Watt (actual and average), stroke rate (actual and average), pace 200m (actual and average), pace 500m (actual and average), pace 1000m (actual and average).

You find a virtual opponent as well, thet helps you to keep motivated. As you slow down the opponent overtakes you.

There are two preset screens on the display, but you can set a custom screen with 5 values from the above.

I see a monitor on your images and in your videos? Does the monitor cooperate with the machine?

No, the monitor is for entertainment only. You can watch paddling or other videos during the long trainings. The monitor can be a simple monitor, a smart monitor or a tablet. You can fix a monitor/TV up to 27”, there are VESA standard fixin point for that.

Do you have an application to connect?

Unfortunately we don't have already. We had, it called KayakFirst Paddle App. Still available in Google Play Store or in AppStore, but it doesn't work anymore. Why? See below!

I cannot connect with KayakFirst Paddle App

We are a small company, unfortunately we cannot follow anymore with budget and staff the various hardware and standards what smart tools producers use, and the many screen sizes. We have to gave up for a while the software developments. We focus on the compact size, the best stroke, durability and the affordable price. We still offer the best "torture-equipment" and not a performance measurement tool.

Why the sliding bench is not available dragon/OC1/outrigger and SUP machines?

SUP dimple cannot work with sliding bench.

The dragon/OC1/outrigger machine could work with sliding bench, but.... We don't offer sliding bench for dragon machines because sliding bench is a sensitive accessory. A bungee pulls back the sliding bench and you have to begin the next stroke while the bench is heading backward. You must feel the rhythm. Dragon/OC1 paddlers are mostly amateurs, they often twitch/tug the stroke, and it's a risk they won't use the sliding bench properly. We don't need warranty problems or conflicts what can be avoided, this way we don't offer it for dragon/OC1 machines. It doesn't mean we haven't sold already, but the customers who decide to purchaes it though are private users, and they accept, that we won't accept sliding bench warranty issues for dragon machine. So, theoretically we don't sell sliding bench to dragon machine, despite this, sometimes, it happens. If you accept the above, please, contact us concerning this.

Combined machines for clubs?

We don't suggest them for clubs. Where there are too many users of a machine, there is no real owner... They will lose the parts and accessories.

Can the canoe machine combined with....?

No, the canoe machine cannot be combined with other machines. It could be, but it would be as complicated and long time to exchange the parts that we don't offer canoe mix machines.

Is there a heart rate monitor, can I connect one?

No, unfortunatley, you cannot.

Can I connect to ZWIFT?

No.

Can I connect to Apple Watch?

No.

How do you adjust the stroke resistance on the machine?

Open or close the airflow. Open it to make it harder.

User manual/assembly manual?

We provide video manuals. You can access the user manual and assembly manual via our website with an access key, after purchasing our machine. You find the access details on the invoice as well as on a piece of paper in the package.

Is it loud?

No, the ergometer is relatively quiet, no louder than a working washing machine, and quieter than a hairdryer.

How long warranty is there?

We give 6 months of warranty for ropes and bungee cords, 1 year for electric components, pulleys, bearings, and some other movable parts. And 3 years for non-movable parts, like structure, components, etc.

What is the maintenance I should do on my ergometer, and how often?

Not much you should do, just as on your bicycle or your car, make sure to keep it clean, avoid dust, and check sometimes the condition of the movable parts (pulleys, bearings, strings, and the rails).

Is it durable?

Yes. We have machines many years old, still in use. General maintenance and keeping clean help a lot! Avoid humidity!

Who will maintain or repair my machine if there is a problem?

- The simplest is if you do that with the help of our video manuals, we provide the parts
